Static Bed Technology
K1 Micro utilizes the same structure as K1 Media and therefor benefits from the same features, however K1 Micro due to it's smaller size boasts a much higher protected surface area and total surface area. This gives K1 Micro very strong biological performance but its mechanical performance is where it really shines, the combination of the K1 structure and the K1 Micro's small size allows for a really tight media pack whilst maintaining good flow. It is important not to underestimate how good K1 Micro's biological performance is too even in mechanical setups you will benefit from its biological potential over time. The K1 Micro media can be seen as an all round media and a particular favourite of ours, it's only fall back is it's smaller size makes it difficult to retrofit.
